I want someone who wants to get a dog with me

I want someone to hold hands with and walk aimlessly in a city

I want someone to read books with in bed

I want someone who is simple

I want someone my brother approves of

I want someone who takes initiative

I want someone who winks at me while he's standing in line to get my coffee

I want someone to protect my mind by always supporting it

I want someone who'll violate me in the kitchen while I make him pancakes

I want someone who'll help rebuild me when the worlds been busy tearing me down

I want someone who believes in something, anything, ME

I want someone who doesn't plan outtings around others

I want someone who doesn't lose sight of the big picture

I want someone who is above all the sentimental bullshit except for our sentimental bullshit

I want someone who'll go fishing with my dad and listen to his boring stories

I want someone who won't exploit my insecurities

I want someone who can laugh at himself

I want someone who's committed to me not attached

I want someone who is patient

I want someone who doesn't preach

I want someone who bites

I want someone to travel with to experience what a tiny place we occupy in the world

I want someone who knows desiring me isn't the same as valuing me

I want someone who hasn't been spoon fed

I want someone who vibrates on the same wavelength as I do

I want someone who is authentically a family man

I want someone with deep, childhood friendships

I want someone who chokes my bad days and plants my good ones

I want someone who hates the same things as I do

I want someone who doesn't have an eye cast over my shoulder

I want someone who doesn't risk us because of a hiccup in the relationship

I want someone I can run my fingertips on

I want someone who doesn't crave the world's attention, just mine

I want someone who wants to hang out with me for the rest of his life

I want the Harry to my Sally, the Cylde to my Bonnie, the Rocky to my Adrian, the Wall-E to my Eve, the Johnny to my Baby, the Jay to my B, the Noah to my Allie, the Ross to my Rachel, the Big to my Carrie.
