The only person I'll call my other "half"

She's my RIGHT half because I'm wrong often and when I am, she's the only right part of me!

my therapist, my truth, my stylist, my banker, my shrink, my friend, my challenger, my counselor, my hairstylist, my PR agent, my religion, my light, my blood, my boss, my happiness, my mental health, my manager, my biggest fan!

Bank On It

There's a fine line between:
  • being nice and being taken advantage of
  • being the bigger person and giving a smaller person esteem
  • being intelligent and having to deal with the less than intelligent
  • being strong and getting drained by someone weaker
Filthy people give birth to filthy situations that produce filthy days, but at the end of the day it's not a filthy life because you have the ability to wash your hands of the filth and ...
DO. BETTER. TODAY. THAN. YOU. DID. YESTERDAY.
... might not seem like much, but it's far more than the filthy have.

Explain ...

People dislike it when I mumble, but I dislike it when people notice I gained two pounds, but not when I cut my hair. I’ve been told the way I chew is annoying, but I think it’s annoying when people tell me I look pretty, but only when I paint my face. I’ve heard that old men like to pay young girls for company, but I want to know why they never kiss the woman who birthed their children thirty two years ago. I’ve noticed that mothers teach their daughters that it’s rude not to hug a stranger who is a friend of an acquaintance, but forget to teach them that they are not indebted to kiss the boy who paid for dinner.

... like I'm five.

Responsibility

I meet you, I like you, I love you, I tell you ... that means nothing.

I meet you, I dislike you, I hate you, I tell you ... that means nothing.

I, you and we have some simple realizations we need to arrive at. What someone tells you about how they feel about you should not determine something about yourself to yourself. You should feel no better or worse if a person loves you or hates you because it holds no intrinstic reality about you.

I meet you, I like you, I love you, I tell you ... that's an extension of myself.

I meet you, I dislike you, I hate you, I tell you ... that's an extension of myself.

I LOVE ME LISTS

For as long as I can remember, I have loved lists.

I love writing them ...

and more so I love ...

crossing them off when complete.
