I don't stop when I'm tired, I stop when I'm finished

We’re frequently meeting new people, places, concepts, thoughts, and ideas and with this constant stream of “new(s),” I find myself wondering about the old me.  It goes without saying that we’re constantly changing with every passing day, hour, minute and even at times second, but what if this gradual change (with respect to the “news” you’ve encountered) isn’t always in your best interest?  What if the “news” in your life are creating such steady changes that you almost don’t notice until they’ve been neatly stacked one on top of another?  And how about when the big picture is complete, and you sense the “new you” compliments of these “news” you’ve faced, you aren't as shiny as new things ought to be? What then? What do you do? I say, re-introduce yourself to the old you.
